How the name came about?
There are ALWAYS multiple layers of thinking going on...
In Frank Herbert's novel "Dune", there were humans with mental powers that essentially made them biological computers; these beings were called "Mentats". That was of course the initial inspiration for the name.
However, it is also an acronym, with the capitalized letters; "MentAT" symbolizing "Mentally Advanced Thinking".
And then the full name is a different symbolism on two levels; "MentAT Enterprises" = "MATE". First because we are a husband and wife team that succeeds together as mates supporting each other. And second because we can be a good mate for your business, supporting you to succeed over any challenges you might face.
